Materials

The Saunity Sauna Pod is built with the high quality materials, chosen for their durability, performance, and timeless style. At its core is the Finnish Thermowood, renowned for its natural beauty, exceptional stability, and resistance to the elements. This sustainably sourced timber forms the foundation of a Pod that is as strong as it is elegant. Every detail is considered, right down to the fixtures. The exterior is fitted with a 316 marine-grade stainless steel light, ensuring lasting performance even in coastal environments, where salt and moisture can quickly wear down lesser materials. These premium components make the Saunity Sauna Pod a product that not only looks outstanding but is built to last.

Efficiency

​

The Saunity Sauna Pod is built for outstanding efficiency, thanks to its insulation system. Unlike many pod designs on the market, every Saunity Sauna Pod is insulated, allowing it to retain heat exceptionally well. Each Pod comes standard with a compact 4.5 kW Harvia electric heater, yet it is capable of reaching temperatures of up to 90 °C.  We’ve made a conscious design choice: our Pods are built to heat the right way, not the fastest way. Some modern saunas focus on blasting hot air quickly, but in doing so they sacrifice what makes a Finnish sauna truly special. In a traditional sauna, it’s the stones that absorb, store, and release the heat, creating a deep, even warmth. We allow around 50 minutes for the sauna to heat ensuring the lava stones reach their optimal temperature, setting the stage for an authentic, restorative, and unforgettable experience.

For those rare occasions when extra heat is desired, the Saunity Sauna Pod can be fitted with an upgraded heater. This allows the sauna to reach higher temperatures while still maintaining its signature balance of consistent warmth and energy efficiency.

What's not included in the base price

​

The electrical connection from the Customer’s consumer unit to the Pod installation site is not included in the standard price of the Saunity Sauna Pod. This is due to variations between properties and site-specific requirements, which prevent a fixed cost from being provided in advance. Saunity partners with Shiney Electrical, a trusted and certified installer, to deliver safe, high-quality electrical installation at your home. The cost of running the appropriate power supply from the consumer unit to the Pod location will be determined following a site survey. This cost is the responsibility of the Customer and will be invoiced separately.

 

To ensure your Saunity Sauna Pod is ready to go, you’ll need to provide a strong, level base measuring at least 165 cm x 215 cm, capable of supporting a total weight of 600 kg (plus occupants).​

Please note: the base and power supply are an additional cost for the customer.

Optional Extras

 

External Wood Oiling: Customers may choose to have their Pod exterior treated with Clear Osmo Oil, a premium weather-resistant finish that enhances durability and protection against the elements. Cost: £200. Also available are four beautiful Osmo Oil Colour Finishes to choose from: Bangkirai, Massaranduba, Bog Oak, and Black. Cost: £350.

Heater Upgrades: Saunity Sauna Pods are supplied as standard with a 4.5 kW Harvia manually operated electric heater. For those seeking enhanced features, including smart-controlled heaters or higher-output models, upgrade options are available. Pricing to be confirmed at the point of quotation, based on the selected model and specifications.

Saunity Branding: Every Saunity Sauna Pod comes with subtle Saunity branding both inside and outside as standard. However, if preferred, you may opt for a completely unbranded finish at no additional cost. This option allows your Pod to remain entirely neutral, blending seamlessly into its surroundings without visible logos or markings.

Warranty

​

Saunity provides a 1-year warranty from the date of the completed installation. The warranty covers craftsmanship, equipment, and installation under normal use. The method of repair or replacement will be at the sole discretion of Saunity. Terms & Conditions apply.
